“Quote Me!” macro? I posted this idea on the RU discussion group.
When you see a weblog post that you want to quote, you can simply click on the “quote me!” link after the post, and it takes you to your own RU desktop, with the text of that story (links, graphic links and all), placed in the text area for you to edit and comment on before posting to your own weblog. Just one more way to make blogging a bit easier, perhaps?
Greg is not too fond of the idea, and offers an alternative. Hmm. Yes it is RU specific, but so are the XML Coffee Cup and Personal Outline functionality, if I’m not mistaken. If we start defining this kind of web service functionality, perhaps others will adopt them.
