I was so stoked this past weekend to find that DishNetwork has added Honolulu’s local network affiliates to their programming packages, particularly with the election season kicking into high gear. We have no cable in our neighborhood and the quality of the broadcast stations in our area sucks. Thanks, Charlie!

I want an iPod. Badly. But I won’t get one until Apple puts an audio input in it, or somebody comes up with something small that can plug into it so that you can record direct to the hard drive. Why the hell is Apple being so tight with the APIs?

Dave pointed to a story on the New York Times website about the fight between Sharman Networks, the creators of Kazaa, and programmers who created Kazaa Lite, which allows users to share files on the Kazaa network without seeing the ads that Sharman Networks inserts to generate income. I checked out the Kazaa Lite websites at http://www.kazaalite.tk/ and http://www.kazaalite.com/, and both have popup ads of their own! Too funny. Let me see if I get this straight. Just one more way to make blogging a bit easier, perhaps? Greg is not too fond of the idea, and offers an alternative. Hmm. Yes it is…

This is a test post to try and get the Instant Outlining coffee mug. Hmm, I’m getting the OPML mug, but cannot subscribe to my own outline. Compared the URL under my graphic to Dave’s, and see there is a difference. Here is the link to subscribe to my outline.
